School Info Session/Tours at Lawton

Lawton School Information Session and School Tours were rescheduled for Thurs. January 8, 2026 at 9am, and Tues. January 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Seattle Public Schools Enrollment Department recently announced that they are moving up the Open Enrollment for School Choice dates for the 26-27 school year from February 2026 to January 2026. To support that change, we are moving our tours to January instead of February.

Kindergarten Jump Start Cancellation Update, February 2026

Due to a roof replacement project scheduled for the next two summers by the district, Lawton will unfortunately not be able to offer our “Jump Start” program for Kindergarteners in August. Kindergarten teachers will communicate with families assigned to their class via email in late August with information and directions for how to sign up for a required “Family Connections” meeting the first week of school (9/2 – 9/4). Kindergarten students do not attend school during this week, and their first day of school this year is Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.
