Lawton Homework Policy

SPS Homework Policy 2422

At Lawton, many staff members share optional resources with students and families each week to help continue learning at home. One of the most important values of our school community is reading independently or with family every day. We hope students will read at home daily to show how much we value literacy and a love for reading at school.

Also, teachers may give extra resources to help students practice or improve their math skills. These may be in the form of worksheets or apps. Homework at Lawton is not graded, but it is a chance for students to practice and explore more if they choose to do the activities each week.
